Attachment limits worth knowing
Plan for the strictest server in the chain, not the most generous.
- Gmail: 25MB per message
- Outlook / Microsoft 365: 20MB, often lowered by administrators
- Corporate and university mail: frequently 5–10MB
- Contact forms: often 2MB per file
Why not just use a cloud link?
Links expire, require sign-in and sometimes get blocked. A compressed attachment simply arrives — and compressing it here means the photo is never copied to a third-party server first.
