No. OPTIMIZE IMAGE runs the entire compression inside your browser using the Canvas and Blob APIs. Your photo never leaves your device, so there is nothing for us to store, log or leak.

Do you use cookies or trackers?

We use no advertising cookies. Anonymous, aggregated usage events (such as 'a compression finished') contain no image data and no personal information. See our privacy page for details.

Is it really free and unlimited?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no per-file limit. Because the work happens on your own device, there are no server costs to pass on to you.

What 'client-side' really means

Your browser decodes the file into a bitmap, draws it onto a canvas, and asks the browser's own encoder for a new JPG, PNG or WebP. All three steps are local APIs. The resulting Blob is handed straight to a download link.
